In partnership with Interactive Driving Systems (IDS), we've developed an online risk management system to help you manage your Duty of Care obligations. IDS are a global provider of fleet risk management solutions and are experts in this area. It delivers research-driven products and services that have been independently validated by the Napier University in Edinburgh.

Cultural development tools

• Safe driving pledge - customised pledge in which an employee agrees to obey the rules of the road and to adhere to all company rules, management standards, policies and driver's handbooks in the performance of his or her duties
• Risk foundation policy assessment - an online questionnaire based on your company driver handbook which demonstrates information has been shared and understood

Risk assessment tools

• RoadRISK: Profile - an online fact based risk assessment which includes the following:
• Driver - individual background, history, experience, driving style, plus any incidents or endorsements
• Journey - how far they drive, for how long and where
• Vehicle - age, mileage, servicing and safety checks as well as how to use safety features correctly such as ABS
• RoadRISK Defensive Driving - an online competency-based risk assessment which addresses the following driver conduct:
• Attitude - what is their opinion on everyday driving situation and the potential issues with other road users
• Knowledge - baseline knowledge of the Highway Code and defensive driving awareness
• Behaviour - what would they do in routine everyday driving situations
• Hazard - what should they be thinking about potentially hazardous situations, incident scenes, roadwork's, fatigue, driving at night etc

• Electronic Licence Check - a DVLA check that will help you to see any driver endorsements and highlight and high risk drivers. Results are colour coded according to the endorsement history and classified as low, medium or high risk

• OneToOne - training for managers on assessing and coaching their drivers
