In January 2003, the 4th EU Motor Insurance Directive came into force. This requires that the insurance details for all vehicles of each member state can be easily identified by a national information centre. The MID was created to record these details and all insured vehicles must be on this database.
Our service allows you to focus on your core business by eliminating the administrative hassle of making sure your fleet is regularly updated and compliant against the relevant legislation.
We are able to report this information on your behalf for funded and fleet managed vehicles, as well as any hire vehicles provided through us for 14 days or more.
MID Reporting includes:
- Information can be updated on a weekly basis for funded and fleet managed vehicles
- Daily rental vehicles can be reported if hired by us for 14 days or more
- Separate insurance polices for cars or commercial vehicles can be reported on
How it works
The cost for MID Reporting is dependent on your fleet size and is billed annually. This service is available for fleets of all sizes.
